STRESS in Our Lives
Stress is something that we all experience in our lives. Have you ever wondered why some people seem to deal with it better then others? What’s their secret?
Today perhaps more then at any time in the last twenty years, we are faced with forces acting on our lives which can lead to stress levels that are dangerous to our health and destructive to our relationships. Scientific research has shown this to be true. Ignoring this fact only puts us at greater risk of burnout or worse. Its only when we tackle the true cause of it that we can avoid the worst effects of stress.
Just at a time when we need to be at our best, stress can lead to bad decision making and poor judgment. Whether it is yourself or someone you know, or work with, understanding stress and how to cope with it, is an important skill you can learn now. The good news is that managing stress is a lot easer than you may have thought. That may be hard to swallow, especially if you are living with it constantly. Perhaps you have a stressful job or career or maybe you find dealing with people or an individual very stressful. Whatever the cause of it, escalating and uncontrolled stress can take the joy out of life. It can even destroy our life altogether. The truth is it is something that we can control and master even better.
We can even learn to turn it to our advantage! Imagine that, using stress to our advantage and yet that is something we do already, although we may be unaware of it. From birth onwards stress plays a part in our development so why can it become so destructive?
Take the first step to gaining a fuller understanding about stress and how it affects us and the people around us. Start gaining easy and practical ways to take it under control by attending a “Stress in Our Lives” management session
The session will be given by Hadrian Boyle-Fawsitt. Hadrian is a Master Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) practitioner, Life and Business Coach, Hypnotherapist and founder of Activity4Life.com
